Myself and lauren just got back from the post office; Have received the “scuff plates” from an interstate guy called Sam.   Also he supplied some metal brackets for the mud flaps.   

Apparently he specialises in making a few reproduction= parts in stainless.  The scuff plates go underneath the doors and hold down  the rubber mats or carpet.  The quality looks good.  They are not dead original – I think the factory ones were just steel cad plated but were known to rust out. 

Also originally the FC came out with rubber matts, so = I will be getting a reproduction set made up soon.
