Its late on sunday night and we have the motor started !!

I messed around tonight with the oil pump trying to get the oil pumped around the motor prior to starting it. I didn't want to cause any damage from low oil pressure.

Then I stuffed around with the spark timing and got it kinda close but not 100% confident it was right.

Then I thought time to put some fuel down the carby and give it a kick but didn't think it would start just yet. To my amazement, the bloody thing started instantly !! It roared into life. I quickly shut it down. Its very loud with no exhaust, closed shed and late on a sunday. I turned the key again, and yep it starts instantly.

My friend adam gave me a hand again today. Helping me getting the oil system working on the car. Unfortunately we had an electrical problem earlier in the day and he didn't get to see the motor start but we chatted on the phone tonight. His help has been very helpful.
