Weekend Progress

More progress this weekend. Adam came over today and we worked on the motor. We had been having trouble with getting oil up to the valve train and rocker assembly. Turns out that there was no problem, but it just takes a little time for the system to fully circulate. We had primed the system with an electric drill but the oil never got to the valves. After running the motor for 30secs and all was fine.

During this running in process we had our first little accident with the car. I had some bubblewrap protecting the front of the car. Unfortunately the engine fan sucked this in as well as the rocker nuts and started throwing them around the engine bay and in the air. The result was a lost nut and also a dent in the engine bay paint. No one was hurt so that's the main thing.

Tonight I ran some of the undercar fuel and brake lines. These new lines look great under the car against the new paint.

Good bye for now.

Peter.
