Last night we went for a cruise with the FC club and shake down test drive last night. Its the first time the car has been driven at night. All systems went well. After the club cruise we went through town. Since its Clipsal 500 weekend, there was some booze bus testing around.



We got pulled up at a random breath test station. Fortunatley we had 3 cops that loved the FC and crowded around. Since it was a random drug test too we had about 5 mins to talk to them. I've never down the drug test before, but it was just a simple salvia swab, and wait a few minutes.



One cop mentioned he had a similar early model holden when he was younger and was impressed with the FC.



Lauren was a bit worried about no seatbelts, but the cops were cool with it..



So far I've done around 100 - 150kms without any problems. No breakdowns, no bits falling off the motor. The temp light came on briefly. Once the motor is tuned correctly, then we will reassess if the motor is really getting too hot.



Another quick cruise to the bay today and then to vili's for lunch with laurens brother ryan.



Door trims are now fitted.
