Yesterday during a test drive the FC engine started to make a strange noise.. It was booked in for a tune up today any way so I got the mechanic to check it.

Looks like the problem is internal to the motor. I'm gutted, the motor was a reconditioned unit 30 years ago and hasn't been driven. During the restoration I engaged a engine company to tear down the motor, check it and replace any items that needed attention.

The exact cause of the problem is not known yet.
