After the 100kms of test drives we found the motor, diff and gearbox all had minor oil leaks. Before the new motor is fitted tonight I hope to get the gearbox leak fixed.

After early advice not to touch the gearbox or diff, I have later found that this was bad advice.

A small leak in the diff could be a very major problem on a long drive as the oil will try to force its way out.

Today the gearbox is getting sorted with an overhaul kit. I was able to obtain a kit from ebay and express posted over the weekend.

Diff and trans SA are fitting the overhaul kit at very short notice to the gearbox and hopefully helping fix the diff pinion seal later in the week.
